On one of the oldest and most beloved pedestrian streets of Dresden — Hauptstraße, laid out in 1687 and lined with plane trees — you will find our Restaurant St. Petersburg. Within a few steps: the Golden Rider (the equestrian statue of August the Strong, 1736), the Dreikönigskirche, and the Kügelgenhaus.
Two kitchens under one roof
Russian cuisine is remarkably varied, drawing on the traditions of many peoples. A festive meal in Russia always begins with zakuski — cold hors d’oeuvres: a whole array of salads, jellied dishes, pickled fish, caviar, charcuterie and piroshki. An old custom welcomes the guest with bread and salt, presented on an embroidered cloth.
We serve excellent Russian cuisine from the Tsarist era — and, almost uniquely in Germany, the finest dishes of Uzbekistan: plov with lamb, slow-cooked with carrots and cumin; lagman, the Uzbek beef-goulash noodle soup; manti, steamed dumplings with fragrant fillings. Delicacies from the sheikh’s palace kitchen that you will hardly find a second time in Dresden.

Always an experience — taste for yourself.
