Russian & Uzbek specialities · Dresden · since 1995
Restaurant St. Petersburg
"Borscht, pelmeni, plov — handmade Russian and Uzbek classics, in the heart of Neustadt."
A small journey to St. Petersburg — in the middle of Dresden
Since 1995 we have been serving two kitchens under one roof on Hauptstraße: Russian classics — hand-made pelmeni, rich borscht, melt-in-the-mouth beef Stroganoff — and Uzbek specialities like plov, lagman and manti. Plus a carefully curated vodka list.
Our dining room blends the understated warmth of an old Petersburg apartment with the quiet that a good dinner deserves. We look forward to your visit.
From the kitchen
Three classics we especially love
-
01 Starters
Pelmeni Sibirskie
Hand-folded dumplings with beef and pork, served with sour cream, butter and fresh dill.
-
02 Main
Borscht — house style
Rich red beet, cabbage and beef stew, slowly braised. With sour cream and a hint of garlic.
-
03 From Uzbekistan
Uzbek Plov
Slow-cooked rice with lamb, carrots, garlic and cumin — like at a Tashkent bazaar.
What we offer
Four pillars of the house
-
01
Hospitality
We have welcomed guests since 1995 like family — honest service, quiet tables, time for a glass of vodka.
-
02
Russian Bliny
Paper-thin bliny with red caviar, curd cheese or sweet fillings — a house speciality, also for take-away.
-
03
Party Service
We deliver pelmeni, salads and hot mains to your home or office — on request.
-
04
Celebrations
Birthdays, weddings and company evenings for up to 80 people in our large hall — tailored to your programme.
The Room
A quiet room for long evenings
Wood-panelled walls, dimmed light and old Petersburg engravings. Space for an intimate dinner just as for birthdays and company evenings.
In summer we open the terrace on Hauptstraße — overlooking the bustle of Neustadt.
